NOTES: Remember that the motion of the left hand has to come out and away from the drum rather than straight up.

11/08/21 - More shaping of the left hand traditional grip, combining skills from last few lessons, digging in on the technique packet.

11/01/21 - Working on the diddle, developing strokes for doubles and buzzes in order to play material in the technique packet

10/18/21 - Shaping the left hand traditional grip, working on the motion with and without the stick. Playing full strokes as well as taps.

Next week:

Running through a mock audition, continue shaping left hand motion.
